Hello from Jill McFeron
Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas continue to be at the top of the “Best Places to Live” but we knew that! As our sleepy little cow town continues its growing pains, we will also continue to bemoan what is lost versus what is gained. Lost is the small town feel, the driving laziness, and the laid back attitude. Gained is a wealthier population, less military dependent economy, and huge gains in shopping and conveniences. It is the proverbial Catch 22. Life is different and for some, better, for others…not so much. 2019, in my opinion, will see a bit more of a balance between buyers and sellers has our inventory is finally catching up with the demand we have had for the last 4 years. Denver commuters, a huge influence on our market, is also seeing the slow down and their inventory also catching up. It will be a good year, real estate wise, maybe just not a crazy year with bid ups and multiple offers. One never knows what the next year brings but as we close out this year, just thank everyone so much who puts their faith and, for the most part, their largest asset with our group to handle. We are blessed beyond belief. Forever grateful and thankful.
